What is a Filigree Jewelry?

Filigree

Filigree is an ornate, delicate setting which is produced by using thin strands of wire, which are intricately intertwined or bent into rosettes, swirls etc.

The height of the manufacture of filigree jewelry was during the Art Deco period of the 1920's and 1930's, when romanticism was highly appreciated. Filigree Jewelry has withstood the test of time and is still popular today.
