This vintage brooch features a black enamel Nielloware design with the goddess of Lightning, Nekkala, from the Hindu tale Ramayana.
The brooch is set in sterling silver and is 1 3/8 x 2" in size and has a bale as well as a pin clasp, so you can use it as a pendant by adding a chain. (chain not included.) The pin is marked Thailand Sterling on the back.
