This lovely brooch from Russia features a hand painted peasant lady portrait pin design. The pin is made of light weight wood in black and has a nice combination of orange, tan, cream, red, and green colors.
The size is 2 1/4 x 1 1/2". The pin has a C Clasp and is marked with what looks like Khiotuha 3 - 94 on the back.
