This lovely brooch is from the 1940s, during this post war period. The brooch has wonderful detail and a great feeling of movement. The piece measures 2 3/4" across x 1 1/4".
The brooch is signed Georg Jensen Inc, USA hand wrought Sterling and is also marked with the number 109.
Flaws: There is a slight bend in the pin part of the clasp. The pin has more patina than the brooch itself, so it may have been replace at some point.
